How many on this thread work in Gousto marketing….

I wouldn’t have thought anyone worked for Gousto marketing, we are just sharing referral codes.

I bough a box from these guys a while back (they were selling them for charity near work) and I handed it to DS to use (he likes cooking).

It was actually quite good for people who can’t cook or want something they don’t have to think too much about (have I got Garlic? Where’s my stock? Have I got 25g of butter??) so maybe busy day cooking.

I can cook but had got stuck in a rut of making the same old things week in week out. I would never have whipped up a Malaysian style chicken curry with pickled cucumber or a katsu chicken burger before we started getting Gousto! I also like that they have everything measured out for you so there is no waste.
We don’t get a box every week but I will often recreate our favourite Gousto meals as we now have lots of recipes.

I used to get those pots - I can’t remember the name (Cook?) where you get a pack with 3 pots of herbs/spices/stock and a recipe card for something simple. They had some really nice recipes but I’d end up with a stack of them (and give them away). They sell some of the packs on supermarkets now.

Oh yes, Simply Cook. I got that once - it’s the one where you buy your own ingredients but they provide the spices isn’t it?

Do you have to commit to it to use the code? Sign up to a certain amount of time?

It'll sign you up immediately, you select, say a box every fortnight. Get your first box, immediately cancel all future boxes.

You can do it all on the app - it's not one of those where you have to email six months in advance etc. It's very easy!

No you don’t. You can pause (I have mine on pause all the time and just order one off boxes when I fancy) or cancel your subscription straight away.

I'm not on our second week of gousto having signed up from the OP's initial code.

All the meals have been good and tasty so far - although I disagree that the 10 minute meals take 10 minutes. Perhaps if you enter into it like a time trial and don't mind your kitchen looking like a tornado has hit it by the time you dish up! I'll probably end up cancelling once my initial discounts are over though, as I'm not sure I can justify it at full price
