I have decided,against my better judgement, to get this for ds! does anyone know any good deals? asre they simple to buy? should i get one with a couple of games i assume?

Mabs we got one in dixons in churchill sq last week It6 was a good deal had 3 games and was 279 We bought the remote control too for £10 I think.

Before you buy one, google "red circle of death"...ours has gone, and most of them do by all accounts

microsoft will fix them for nothing but you have to pack it up and post it off and then they post it back, and it can happen again - I haven't sent ours yet and it died weeks ago, I keep looking at it crossly but not getting around to it.

We've had the ring of death too.
Our 360 was collected by UPS paid for by Microsoft and fixed. We are hopefully getting back by UPS tomorrow. Again all paid for by Microsoft.
Microsoft recognise that there is a problem with the ring of death and have extended their warranty to 3 years.

PITA though, jinglebug - given that it's been happening for aaages, wouldn't it have been nice of them to fix the problem before we bought the damn things?

I think they have sorted the problem with the new ones though.
