Wow. Thanks for that.

I've just booked 2 weekends away at £60 a piece. One in June for me and my daughter and one in October for the whole family. Just nice for recharging the batteries.

Went last year on a one of these £60 holidays, classic appartment, and I said to my daughter that next time I'd try and get a club appartment..and I have..both weekends too!

We stayed in Southport and room was VERY DIRTY but we had a great time after i did some cleaning.

babyjjbaby · 13/02/2008 23:09

has anyone stayed in the budget and the classic we stayed in the budget twice now and it is fine but next week we are going to a classic and wondered what they are like compared to budget

alysonpeaches · 14/02/2008 19:52

I heard on another forum that the budget and classic were a bit dirty. Can anyone be a bit more specific and tell me what to expect? I am thinking of booking one, but DH keeps turning his nose up. I think it would be good for the kids though.

SpiritualKnot · 14/02/2008 21:48

I've just spent some time at Pontins in Prestatyn in Classic accommodation. We spent a night there and then I noticed the toilet was real dirty on the outside as if someone had been sick? Tried to clean it and it wouldn't shift as it had been there so long.. Didn't stay another night as felt a bit yukky after that.

It was also very cold in the chalet.

Stayed there twice before in Budget and that was okay, so I guess it's the luck of the draw really.

I'm local to Prestatyn so we went back today again, daughter loves it there! The kids there are really enjoying themselves, lots of laughing and evryone seems to get on together.

Got another 2 bookings, one in May and one in October, both in club accommodation..same cleaners though I guess.

I'm going to let then know about it, I didn't complain then as I was with my daughter and didn't want her to know I was not happy.

I always ask for a nice quiet location and I always get one, so it's worth making a request if you want one. You get an end chalet with the bedrooms on the outside so there's no-one next door on that side which is really good.
