I'm not quite sure if this is allowed but I wanted to take the for a day hopefully in the summer, bit having lost my job can't really afford much.
I've seen the sun are doing their free tickets and was wondering if anyone had any sun papers from Sunday upto today that wasn't using the codes if I could have them please.

I will not comment on your choice of newspaper but I do have some advice for you:

Do not book your sn saver jaunt for any destination in the Merseyside/Cheshire area. You will receive the shittiest service possible, service that is solely reserved for sn readers.

I fully understand your reasons, however I don't actually read any newspaper I just wanted the free tickets to take my dc to chessington for the day as we've all had a crappy year, so wanted to do something nice for them.

Oh, I know - just wanted to warn you really in case you were thinking about doing something in that area. Do you use Money Saving Expert at all? There is usually a thread going on the 'UK Holidays and Days Out' board and I'm willing to bet there are Facebook groups for code sharing too, if there's no joy here.

OP, I collected the codes for Legoland tickets sometime before lockdown 1.0 and I went on the website to order the tickets (on the first day you could) and all of the tickets had gone.
Not trying to put a downer on your plans (I don't have any), I'm just trying to warn you that even if you collect the vouchers, you may not get tickets.

Also can't help but if you have no luck then jars of dolmio have a free 3 month kids pass on and I noticed chessington was one of the discounted places

Belledan1 · 19/05/2021 10:27

I got them if you want. Not sure how many you need but have from Sunday and my husband buys it each day for the sport!! Can pull out of recycling

Cadent · 19/05/2021 10:43

There is a voucher section, this does not belong in AIBU!

I'm sorry to hear that. I think it must depend on the provider. My lovely late gran-in-law used to collect the sun tokens every time and we had some really cheap long weekends when the DC were small. I never experienced being treated any worse than other customers, and on one occasion we were upgraded to top of the range accommodation.

OP- have you also checked wowcher, we've also found some really good deals on there

Ladyinthewindow · 20/05/2021 17:48

@Belledan1Yes please that would fantastic thank you.
