Oh I’m with them because I have an electric car and they did the cheapest off peak rate at 5p. I did try to get dh to agree to the dishwasher, dryer and washing machine all being timed to use it to but dh said now & if I do it anyway and the house burns down he’s going to bring it up again & again.

They are good, so far they haven’t bombarded me with bullshit letters about how their dealing with covid or hassled me to pay horrifically high winter bills and lower summer ones like another provider wanted or tried to raise my DD because I switched in winter (Eon I’m looking at you).

I never hear from them which is exactly how I like it.

I’ve been with Octopus now for a few years and have been really happy with them. They have a simple website for inputting meter readings, they update your statement immediately when you give a meter reading which I love, they’ve not hounded me to install a smart meter and prices have been decent too. Far happier with them than anyone else I’ve been with. This referral link gives us both £50 if you use it to signup
