Multiyork sofa love

I'm in love with a multiyork sofa but even their current sale prices are a tad too steep. Does anyone have any discount codes?

I was thinking about one of their sofas last year and they had everything on the sale at half price. Prior to that every sale they had either had 20 or 30% off everything. So it might be worth hanging on to see if you can afford the 50% off price and signing up for all their newsletters to see when they have their next sale.

Might be worth sweet talking to them on a quiet time to ask when they are likely to have their next 50% sale is, say that's all you can afford fir xxx sofa you want and see if they will haggle.

Which sofa(s) do you like? In the end I didn't go for one of their sofas; I wanted one with a Colorado-like shape but with a bit higher back and deeper seat which they do on other sofas. So have found a little local upholstery place that will make whatever you want and I think I'm going to get them to make them as they cost about the same. I've only been looking for about 5 years; my dh thinks I'm too fussy :o

A belated thanks zipzap. The object of my affection is the Osborne sofa in the showroom Sanderson fabric. We need a large one and an extra large one so I am going to make myself wait until they offer a better 'sale'. When pressed the sales assistant did say that if he rang his head office he might be able to get additional 2% off. So you're absolutely right - nothing ventured, nothing gained.

5 years is a long time. I can only just about manage to live with our knackered sofa's for about another 5 months. This is such a major household purchase though and something to you have to look at every day, so it's worth getting it right.
