Query on Amazon vouchers

When you buy one does it get emailled to the purchaser and is it be possible to get a duplicate ? We were given one for Christmas but now we want to use it typically we can't locate it :( Would giver be able to print/email us another copy if needs be?

It does, yes. They should be able to email you the code number. If they have deleted the email then I am sure Amazon can re-issue it.

Given as a printed card - does same apply ?

Yup, or at least it always has when I've given them.
