The Early Learning Centre do one that is virtually the same as the Mini Micro. It's called Twist and Roll(?) I think. About £30 instead of £50 for a Micro.

Rarely - I have looked every where for months to but for xmas but gave up in the end and bought them full price (did use my nectar point to get them on amazon though). Worth every penny.

They are very sturdy, you could get them 2nd hand.

Not that I have seen in the shops but DDs school recently did a deal with them where you could get a fair bit of money off buying them through the school.

If your kids are at school maybe it is something you could suggest to PTA?
