Nintendo DSI where to buy & good games?

I'm giving in on giving a DSI for my son and hoping that someone has somewhere that has a fantastic deal available.

Also what are suitable games for age 7?

probably brand new....and what is the difference between the DS and the DSI??

ds is the first one that came out - think the only diff on the dsi is that it has a camera.

my dc love mario and sonic at the winter olympic games. Its also got an adventure game on it so not just the sports (altho they are good and if someone else has a ds they can play against each other). Big hit in our house!

Mario karts and Super Mario bros also big hits.

Professor Layton is an excellent set of games altho might be tricky for a 7 year old - dd is 9 and struggles with some of the puzzles (but has found the answers on the internet!)
