I'm trying to find the cheapest place to get a Playstation (not needed til mid Jan). Anyone have any ideas?

Also open to good 'bundles'

As I don't need it til January, is it the sort of thing that gets reduced after Christmas?

DH says, usually it's best to wait until after Christmas - sales are on, and you could get a deal with bundles BUT this year we've got the VAT rise at the beginning of January, and no indication yet of how stores are going to deal with it, or whether indeed Sony will hold the price down and absorb the increase themselves. It's possible that retailers might put off passing the increase on to customers as a preVAT increase Sale, and not raise it until the end of January.

You might find looking a price comparison website handy for current deals, but obviously that won't help if you wait.

Thanks, hadn't thought about the VAT rise. Bit of a gamble either way!
