Anyone know when SAINSBURYS hal price toy sale & PLAYMOBIL damaged box sale starts?

Sainsburys have a sale on at the moment - only some is half price though - not sure if it is replacing the half price sale.

The last big damaged box sale was in the new year. I can't remember the number but if you search online for it - and call playmobil they will tell you when it starts and then email you the list of stuff.

There was one before Xmas last year, everything in the toy section was half price. Erm, I am sure it was October time??

Playmobil send me monthly emails listing their damaged box stock.

You can contact the playmobil customer service department on 01268 490184 and ask to be put on their mailing list so that you receive emails about any sales.

I rang the other day asking to go on their damaged box list - the woman said she didn't know when the next one would be, but she kept quiet about monthly emails.

Sainburys half price toy sale usually Sept/Oct.

Fwiw, Toys Direct have got 20% off Playmobil for about another week.

I emailed Sainsbo's last year to say how crap their sale was.
Lots of TV advertising so I went online the day it started at about 8am when everything was already gone! They must've had one of everything.

I phoned Playmobil about 5 mins after receiving the damaged box email today and they'd sold out of everything except the really small items (which aren't a huge bargain once £5 postage is factored in).

Sainsbury toy sale started at midnight last year.
