Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Genuinely, why does it matter?

WhatAMarvelousTune · 27/07/2026 13:27

They’re models hired to promote the fact that soon girls will be allowed, I would assume.

BreakingBroken · 27/07/2026 13:28

I presume child actors.

MidnightPatrol · 27/07/2026 13:35

Interesting that even Wetherby is going co-ed.

Id always understood that it was almost impossible to get a place there. Obviously not if they are accepting girls now.

Why doesn’t it matter? If you are considering sending your daughter to a school that has only just started to take girls, then it will be better if they are the second intake rather than the first. It’s definitely of interest to a prospective parent.

My friends dd was applying to a university where it was the first year they had run the course and she changed her mind and went somewhere else because she didn’t want to be in the first ever year.

Yes but a 2 second google tells you girls are starting in September 27.

@BreakingBroken @WhatAMarvelousTune ok, it makes sense then. I was confused why there are so many girls [I doubt many girls will attend] at the school now

@MidnightPatrol Notting Hill is still popular and oversubscribed, so it is not going coed, but Kensington and Marylebone have plenty of unfilled spots

Right, but showing images of lots and lots of girls as if they are already attending is what the OP was questioning.

javaprogrammer · 28/07/2026 07:42

@BoomBoomBoomShakeTheRoom right, not only the photos falsely suggest there are many girls at a boys school, they also deceptively suggest a diverse body of boys and girls. Even Wetherby can attract a few girls, I bet the school will be 95% boys, with 3-5 white girls being sisters of current pupils.
