Private schools to 18 with equestrian facilities and horses on site

Can anyone recommend any other up to 18 schools with equestrian facilities and where the horse can accompany you to school? I know of Sedburgh and Stonor but am stumped for any others.

Thanks all, Millfield was one I had mentally ruled out as I was convinced it was a highly pressured environment. Will definitely reconsider.

Might be worth looking at the offer at the Royal Alexandra and Albert state boarding school in Surrey. As it is a state school you just pay for the boarding element as state education is free, 7400 per term full boarding, with other options available. They have their own equestrian centre with 20 horses and offer a range of Pony Club, BHS exams and other qualifications.

Millfield is definitely not academic/pressurised. But probably is high pressure for sport.

This was going to be my point too. Its the school for future Olympians, not sure how lower ranking sporty kids get on.

Stowe.

Truly best options are Stowe and millfield

millfield has the greater sporting pedrigree for sure but unless she wants to become Olympian Stowe’s level is more than strong enough.

neither are academic, Stowe less frenzied competitively in the sport realm and little stronger on the culture/arts/music. Millfield has more scale. Stowe is quite weekly and flexi boarding now.

try stonar too if these aren’t your flavour.

I always thought Stonar was the horseiest school!
