Has anyone got DCs who have taken the entry exam for year 12 recently. Is it subject specific, or more general? I’d be really grateful for any insight. Thank you.

Mine did it just before COVID if that counts as recent? At that point it was more of an online reasoning test and a bit of a grilling at interview. They'd already attended a session where they sat in a couple of mock 6th form lessons so the school had a fair idea of what they were like, plus the school reports. The subject specific stuff was in the afternoon for the scholarships (DDs was music so a bit different).

Happy to answer any other queries - it is a great school and DD had a good time despite some COVID restrictions early on.

Oh great - thank you for answering! It’s a pretty niche question.
That makes a lot of sense - DS is likely trying for an academic scholarship and a drama one too. I think he would love it there, but it’s a world away from his current state school.
Did your DD board there?

Yes for the 2 sixth form years. She enjoyed the boarding although she was very keen for me to spring her for salad and steak on Sunday lunchtime......
