Kimbolton or Kings Ely

We have decided to move our children out of our village primary as we feel that it isn’t the best academically. This is mainly down to teachers attention being stretched and lack of resources.
we have viewed both Kings Ely and Kimbolton, and are trying to decide between the two. We would be starting them in y1 and y3 in September. Both of them are girls. We also have a 1 year old boy who we would like to send to the same school when he is old enough.
I would really like to hear people’s thoughts on both schools.

DS is at King’s and absolutely loves it. Such a wide range of activities. He is thriving academically and it has really built his confidence. We spoke to a few people about Kimbolton and felt it sounded too pushy academic for us but to be fair we didn’t visit

@MrsALambert glad to hear DS loves King’s Ely. It’s lovely when your DC is thriving isn’t it? ☺️

Hi @Cambsmum1 I have sent you a DM - hope it’s helpful

My 3 have all been at King's Ely and loved it, as have we: thrived academically, excelled in music/sport/drama/outdoor education, and generally just had a wonderful time. Have sent you a PM @Cambsmum1
