I’d really appreciate any recent experiences of Ardingly College + Prep in Sussex (last few years ideally).
We’re considering moving our two children there — DS7 and DS10 so starting in the prep and continuing to the senior school— and I’m trying to get a balanced, up-to-date picture before making any decisions.
I’ve found a few older Mumsnet threads which seemed quite mixed/negative in places, but they’re several years old so I’m not sure how relevant they still are.
I’d particularly love to hear about: • Pastoral care and general happiness of children
• Academic pressure and support (especially for children who aren’t naturally super academic)
• Inclusivity / school culture / parent community
• Communication with parents
• SEN or learning support experiences (if relevant)
• Transition through to senior school
• Anything you wish you’d known before choosing Ardingly
Equally very happy to hear positives as well as negatives — just hoping for honest, recent feedback.
