Hi, my son is in year 4 at an independent school in London. He had just done the gl assessment progress tests. He didn’t score particularly well on the comprehension questions! Is there anything I can do to help him? We read together every night, recently I have encouraged him to read on his own for a few days per week and then I ask him questions afterwards… some he gets right, some he doesn’t! We discuss new vocabulary too.. any other thoughts?
