Can I have honest reviews of the prep school please? Thinking of transferring my child here. Thanks!

Hmmm, I would say it’s the cheapest independent school in the area for a reason. It depends what you are looking for I suppose. It used to have a reputation for being good with SEN children. I would also look carefully at finances as there have been rumours for years of them being in trouble. Having said that, their Head is a lovely man and the children seem happy (I know people who have worked there and don’t want to be too outing.)

Hi @Daisies1 I've just transferred my child here and I think it's an excellent school. We looked at the others in Salisbury, but chose LHS because we felt it best suited our child. So far we have not been disappointed. The new head is fantastic, and my child is so much more engaged with his work since joining. Feel free to message me if you want to know anything more, but I'm really pleased we made the leap

I don't know a huge amount about Leehurst Swan but we have just transferred out children to Salisbury Cathedral School and are very pleased with it. Very impressed with their pastoral care and SEN support. Whichever school you choose, I would recommend looking them up on gov.uk to see what their pupil numbers are first. We are in tricky times right now with the introduction of VAT on school fees and schools closing. Godolphin Prep already closed down in the summer.
