DD is there (junior school). We love it. New head is fantastic. Teachers are caring and communicative. Girls are well supported to learn and thrive - wellbeing is the foundation for everything.

Did you manage to get any more feedback from other parents about the school?

We're contacting OP off the boards.

@Allison2222 @MapleStrider Hi, I am Matt the Deputy Head Pastoral at St Margaret's. We have always been a school that has embraced all faiths and none. There is no move towards any one particular faith. We have in the last two weeks celebrated with an Infant Nativity and Carol Service hosted in the local church. The service was attended by pupils, parents and staff of many different faiths and none. If you would like to know more why don't contact our office and arrange to come in to visit. Matt

Our DD is also in the junior school and has been there since reception. We absolutely love the school: it is warm and nurturing, but that does not dilute the school’s expectations of the girls, both academically and in their behaviour. I’m surprised by the comment about behaviour problems as each teacher, not to mention the SLT, knows each girl so well that any issues are addressed immediately, before they escalate. They have also subscribed to Girls on Board which helps the girls work towards conflict resolution instead of just encouraging them to run to the first adult they see.

The new head is so phenomenal and has already starting making extremely positive changes to the school.
