Kings College School 6th Form

I'm looking at Kings College School 6th Form for my DD. She is currently at a highly selective girls school but wants a change and Kings is the only school in commutable distance that is comparable academically to where she currently is. I don't want her to get her hopes up only to be dashed so I was wondering how competitive it is to get in and if they are looking at anything else other than pure academics. She is predicted straight 9s at GCSEs but from what I gather, this is the case for most of the girls who apply. In terms of extra curricular she is more of a "jack of all trades" and has been involved in a huge amount of sport and drama type activities and while she has been on numerous "A" teams she is not national/county level at anything so there won't be anything like that to set her apart on her application. Can anyone give any insight into the application process and what they are looking for? She has really set her heart on this and I just want to make sure she is prepared but that her expectations are also managed. TIA
