Hi, we are considering this school for our daughter next year and then our son two years later. Quick question to any parents, how many children are local? Eg twyford, Wargrave, Henley etc. we are really looking for them to have local friends. I see the bus route goes really far and worried that they wouldn’t be able to get to see their friends/hang out at weekends. I can that 70% of children are day children

thank you

Are your children sporty? I know it’s a brilliant rowing school. They offer summer camps of various disciplines which is good for trying the school out.

I’ll pm you. As all y7 and y8 kids have to be day, no boarders, the vast majority of them I’m sure will be within 30 mins or so each way?

It’s a brilliant rowing school because they offer loads of full scholarships in sixth form to kids who are good at rowing- they swoop
in and irritate all the schools who’ve trained them up till then. Deeply unpopular among rowing coaches at other schools! I haven’t a clue about academics though! Used to be good with SEN especially dyslexia but that’s going back a few years!
