Langley Prep or Beeston Hall

Hi there!

My husband and I are moving to Norfolk. We have viewed a number of schools in the area and have narrowed it down to Beeston Hall and Langley Prep.

They are both so lovely, and I wondered if anyone had any experience of either that they could share?

Thank you!

I would seriously think about where you would like them to go at 11 or 13. Langley Park is an all through school and the great majority stay on. If you might be considering other schools for secondary then they won’t help you prep.

Beeston Hall predominantly sends children to Gresham’s, Oundle and Uppingham and a significant amount onto board. Your child would be fully prepped for all school entrance exams though.

Both lovely schools. We looked at both but in the end decided to delay our permanent move to Norfolk until the children had left school - five years and counting!!!!

Have you considered Town Close or will you be too far out of Norwich?

In terms of Langley prep vs Beeston, I only know a family well that are at Langley prep and they are very happy with it. Obviously no school is perfect but they’ve always felt listened to and their DC have been very happy.
