4+ assessment prep with Arlette

Hi! We’re looking to organise some group 4+ assessment prep sessions (£90 per child per hourlong session) with the famous Arlette in Golders Green on Friday mornings between September - December.

Currently doing individual tutoring but want to get our daughter used to group dynamics nearer the time of assessments.

If you’re interested in joining group sessions please DM me with your child’s gender, birthday month and year, and target schools.

Thanks!

I wouldn’t recommend it to be honest - no 3 or 4 year old kid should need tutoring to “pass” the assessments - we know multiple people who tutored from age 2 and guess what - they got absolutely 0 offers (one had a sibling at NLCS and another a boy sibling at Highgate).

I have a dd at one of these highly sought after NW London schools and she got all her offers (without tutoring). I think the whole mumsnet and tutors plays on people’s fear and people fall for the fact they think they need a tutor ! If a child got in and probably shouldn’t have then you are making their life miserable in the long run as they can’t keep up and by piling on so much pressure at age 3!

Is it one mock session or multiple sessions? Doing what ?

@bayesian - multiple mock sessions - one per week between Sept-Dec. Covering everything that the kids need to know for the assessments as decided by Arlette
