We're looking at a few private primary schools in and around the Islington area.
We visited The Lyceum and liked a lot of what we saw there, but noted that the school will soon be bringing on board an external DEI (diversity, equity & inclusion) consultant to inform new policies/curriculum changes, with the aim of helping the school become a 'DEI champion' school. We don't know what this will look like or how it will ultimately impact the children, which is a concern.
I would be grateful to hear from anyone with direct experience or knowledge of the Lyceum who can share their thoughts, on this and more generally on the school.
And if anyone has recommendations for primary schools in the area, they'd be gratefully received!
