15 hours funding

Hi,

our child is starting at the local prep in September and on their website they state that they accept 15 hours funding until the child turns 5. When she was in nursery they applied for it on our behalf, but does anyone have experience of this with schools? Do schools apply directly again? Have we missed the deadline for 15 hours funding for September (and if yes, when can we apply again / when will it be available from)?

Is it the 15 hours NEF for all children fron the term after 3?

You should be given a funding form to complete which will allow the school to claim the funding on your behalf.

The school I work with hasn’t sent out their forms yet for the September starters. They will be going out in mid-June.
