Dean close v Arthrie and SEN

Looking into both these schools for DS who is 3 and we (plus current nursery) suspect he may have ADHD. He’s bright as a button intellectually but does seem to struggle with social interactions some of the time. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with either of these schools with regards to SEND/behavioural difficulties? TIA

I would talk to both to be honest, although isn't the Airthrie under the Dean Close umbrella now? Our eldest has ADHD and we were struggling with her school attendance so we approached a few private schools but the honest truth is that they were fairly hostile about SEN and disruption to other pupils.

I would be very focused on getting an EHCP in place as soon as you're able. A colleague at work has just got their DC one in place for their autism as the school aren't coping at all, and they've been told there is a 2 year + wait list for Bettridge in Cheltenham or the Milestone school in Gloucester.
