Greshams in Holt, Norfolk - It’s pretty special and I’m wondering if there is anything similar in either Hampshire, West Sussex, Cornwall or Dorset?

we are specifically looking for strong STEAM provision and excellent academics. The ethos and values of Gresham are stand out so I’m keen for a similar school if one exists? And that’s where I need your help.

It’s for dc11 day pupil so boarding provision not priority for us and would prefer less than 60% full boarding if there is such a unicorn!

must be co-ed

any advice or tips gratefully received 😊

The link Greshams has with James Dyson is of course unique plus the BTec offering at sixth form eps for Agriculture.
In the geographical areas you mention there are other exceptional and unique schools like Beadales and Millfield but I can't think of a Stem specialist school. Your best bet may be the good schools guide.

Thank you for the reply. I’m not sure about Millfield but will check out Beadales.

@Wigglytails , Beadales is not Stem based at all, I meant to say that there are other unique schools, Teddies is another, but they are not like Greshams. You may do best to focus on the Wiltshire / Dorset mixed boarding schools that have a large day intake like Dauntseys and use that as your benchmark against other schools in the good schools guide or Sunday times list of schools etc.
