If your school uses them for uniform, has anyone noticed if different items go in the sales?

We've just had 1 sale (30% off) and I believe there's normally another for Black Friday.

Certain items such as the school coat and summer dress weren't in this recent sale, might they go in later sales or are certain items always full price?

This is surely a school / supplier specific issue. Do you want to tell us which school it is for as I’m sure they all have different agreements with Schoolblazer.

We tend to use the second hand shop

These are the total schoolblazer site sales so not school specific.

Second hand shop is a bit hit and miss for dinky, grubby kids - think they put the uniform through its paces!

We're only in Yr 1, but have noticed that the Schoolblazer sales are very infrequent and not especially generous. We hit our 2nd hand shop hard, although might be scuppered in Yr 3, as I hear the uniform is about to change for the Prep School 😫

My sons' school uses schoolblazer. In my three years of experience only items such as hats, gloves, art overalls, caps, maybe pe bags etc go on sale. The core uniform items, especially if crested, never go on sale

My kids have used school blazer at 3 different schools. Not everything goes into the sale, it's only limited items - I wonder whether it's overstock? Anyway, I wouldn't wait for a sale as they're not guaranteed to be in it (and sometimes sizes are already sold out once the sale is on).

The sizing guide was way off though! But quite easy to exchange at least.

I’ve got some PE kit and next size up blazer in their sale before.

I have received emails from them advertising a certain percentage off everything in stock within certain dates. One time it meant that we saved a lot, as it coincided with my DC moving school and us needing to buy everything and it was all included - we saved about £16 just on the blazer.

I've been successful in purchasing all items in the sale, including the most expensive ones such as blazers, crested coats and jumpers. It usually says the sale only applies to 'items in stock' though, and not everything features in the sale every time.

On a slight tangent here...but has anybody ever noticed unpleasant smells from the PE kit? It appears to be coming from the elastic/fabric. I've had to throw quite a few items away as they stink, no matter how many times I wash them.

Use dettol antibacterial washing sanitiser and don't use fabric softener. Stops the smells.

Take it back and complain!!
