I'm posting this here as I didn't realise there was a sub-topic dedicated to Private school. It was originally posted under Secondary education.

Does anyone have any recent experience or knowledge of these schools?

We are looking for a nurturing school which will help DD to regain her confidence. She was at a non-selective girls' school but this was taken over by a co-ed selective school and she has lost her confidence along the way. We are looking at moving her for seniors as she does not like the competitive environment. She loves reading and is creative, preferring subjects such as art, drama and DT but is not sporty and does not enjoy games.

DD is a highly sensitive child and, after a recent assessment, ASD has been ruled out. Academically she is doing fine; we are looking for a school that will help her to achieve her potential in an unpressured environment and we're hoping that one of these schools might fit the bill.

Hi! My DD15 has ASD/ADHD and I had her in Rye which was amazing. It recently merged with Headington so it's all gone to shit as all they care about is revenue and results.

I've been looking around and we did visit Sibford it's lovely and nurturing, lovely vibe to it. Just decided it wasn't quite right for DD and looking at LVS in Ascot instead now for sixth form.

Not sure if that helps but I would go an open day and just see what you think.
