NHEHS vs SHHS vs Highgate

My dd is due for reception 2025. She has an offer from NHEHS.. however there are chances she might get into south hampstead and Highgate too. She is a smart 4 year old. Very good with phonics and tries to read 3 letter words, can write in upper and lower cases and is good with numbers. I think she might get into the other schools as well.. so wanted to understand from other parents which one should we consider given we want academics as well as overall growth for the girl..

Where do you live? Long commute between Notting Hill, Swiss Cottage and Highgate in school run time.

We r on rental and happy to move considering we want easy commute to our office as well. So all these areas work wrt to our office and the fact all of them are through schools

oh OK. Almost everyone who goes to SHHS junior lives very close, within a mile or so - would be harder socially if you didn't. Highgate junior is for confident 'alpha' kids, not the shyer types. And obviously is co-ed from the start so depends if you want that. Both SHHS and Highgate are a very wealthy crowd, more than some other private schools.

It's even further - NHEHS is in Ealing.

I know all the schools a little and from what I can tell they're quite similar. YY to going with the closest one.

Hi, what did you finally go for?

Hi @tmb87 !

SHHS is significantly the most academic at secondary and in Sixth Form.
