7+ Exam 2025/26 Thread

Hello all. Starting a new thread for 7+ exam for 2025/26. Hoping other parents join in for the prep. I have a DD and will be hoping she us ready (although a summer born).

Thanks @achiswickmum - anyone prepping for 7+ this autumn and winter? What have you been doing this summer to prepare?

Our dc has been doing some workbooks daily, and we are using a timer, but I’m panicking that some people who have sat 7+ in previous years are saying we need to be doing books for 8-9 yrs or year 4…I didn’t realise we needed to be working to year 4 curriculum. Is anyone else doing this level?

Anyone able to provide insight on what to expect in the UCS English test? Is there a creative writing section?
