Would love if anyone could share their experience or insight about Cottesmore as we’re looking into it for DS.

I visited Cottesmore today near Horsham, Sussex and was shown around by two delightful boys from London who are heading for Charterhouse and Eton....was impressed by the teachers and the classrooms, tech room, sports pitches and nice dorms and DTI space..and buses go to and from London...the negative I would say is that there is no Sports Hall for indoor basketball etc and my son is very sporty - they have an outdoor but roofed cold football space and a very small gym space in the main building. The building is tudor/gothic and very atmospheric with wooden pannelling, open fires and the kids seem happy with two girls standing outside with umbrellas to welcome parents today which was a lovely touch. I was shown the chapel as well. I was given a goody bag when I left. The headmaster Tom and his wife Lottie seemed v nice and the school is in his family. The location felt very rural and different from some of the other prep schools in Wokingham etc. I like that it is mixed but the sports hall may be the factor for us and it being in sussex. Anyone else have kids there?
