Is it possible to apply for bursary after an offer?

Yes it's possible, but I think you need to be highly realistic about the chances.

It's highly likely that the school will have made all the bursary offers it can afford when all offers were made, and the likelihood of them having funds available beyond that are low.

You should apply for a bursary prior to assessment/entry requirements otherwise you are wasting everyone's time.
With VAT, many schools are reducing their bursary offers so I would be very wary of relying on one.

If you wait the funds will have already been allocated so unlikely to be offered a bursary afterwards unless others turn their place down.

Only in exceptional circumstances for most schools.

In general you are supposed to.apply for bursary support at the same time as offering you a place. In some schools rhe bursary application form says "if yoi don't get a bursary will you accept the place"

In a circumstance where a family is affluent enough to afford the fees in December when they make the application, and then subsequently before the child starts at the school some terrible tragedy strikes eg cancer for a parent resulting in halving of income, then they might consider it.

Just talk to the school. Some opened a window to discuss due to the added VAT next year. But again don't give too much hope under the current climate.
