Any first hand experiences of the school? Considering it next year for DC - currently out of area.

If you're looking for fancy facilities and mixing with the super rich then LOGS is not for you. If you want a small nurturing school which treats kids as individuals then LOGS is great. I have one there, and a younger one who will go there. It's very down to earth, a bit scruffy, attracts an ever-so-slightly alternative clientele whilst being a fairly traditional school (the school itself isn't especially alternative). It's not got much outside space (they go elsewhere for sports) but is in a lovely spot in central Lewes. The head is warm and funny but not remotely a pushover. My son has thrived there after finding primary school (elsewhere) really challenging. Obviously it's private so the families are much, much wealtheir than average, but they are mostly fairly ordinary professionals from Brighton, Lewes and surrounding areas who find the state schools too big and impersonal and want smaller classes and a more caring environment.
