Best London Prep Schools

Hello. I am new to London and the UK. I have 3 sons - 9, 6 and 4. Looking for a great prep school with proven track record of entry to schools like Eton, Winchester etc. Can anyone recommend please or share experiences?

Prep school in the UK is for younger children, OP. Typically they finish at age 11 and then it’s on to upper school.

St. Paul’s Juniors in Barnes (from age 7-13) is excellent and if your children are academic and applied, they can then move up to St. Paul’s secondary, which is a very prestigious school.

Your little ones under 7 can attend Ravenscourt Park Prep in Hammersmith and stay until age 11 or move over to St. Paul’s.

Latymer Prep and Upper are also excellent options (in Hammersmith not far from St. Paul’s). And both the lower and upper school are on the same grounds, as are St. Paul’s junior and upper schools.

Look at Weatherby, the Hall, Hill House

Weatherby and Hill House don't have good placement records. Best prep schools for boys (or coed) are Westminster Under, Trevor Roberts, St Pauls Juniors, Arnold House, Sussex House, The Hall. Sussex House is particularly good if you're looking at boarding generally and Arnold House if you're considering Eton.
