Meeting with SENCO what to ask and what to expect?

Posting this here rather than SEN in the hope that I get some response.

Ds (yr 1) has been assessed (at my request)using the Aston Index. He has been assessed as having poor visual sequential memory and poor sound discrimination (hearing and sight are fine). From what I have googled this affects reading, spelling and copying from the board. His reading is very poor, spelling okay and he says himself that he looks at the board but can't remember what to write down when he comes to write.

What questions should I ask in particular? Is there a steer I should be aiming for? If so who should I try and get ds referred to - occupational therapist, ed psych etc. Ds was prem and again from what I've read this may be part of the reason for his current problems. His GP is happy to refer him to whomever the SENCO recommends but I'd be grateful for those who have been through similar to give me some pointers.
