What will you be buying your DC's Teacher and TA this Christmas?

Just curious what other people buy and how much you spend? Love my son's teacher so think i'll get her something nice

Nice teachers and support staff who give above and beyond the call of duty get a present from us as a thank you and an acknowledgement for what they've done to make things better for my kids. i also give to rainbows and beavers leaders as they do it voluntarily. When my DCs have had a not so good teacher,as i said, I didn't give her anything!

i adore DS's reception teacher and TA and i am so greatful for how well he has settled in at school esp seeing he has to undergo eye patching etc. They are wonderful and i will be buying them a bottle of wine each. i help out in the class sometimes so i can see first hand what they do.

i have newfound respect for teachers! (good ones......)

We have loads of teachers and assistants and I have a tiny budget so its a small Christmas tree decoration each to dd has something to take in. I cant afford 6 bottles or wine etc.

Its a bit cheap but its the best I can do and it makes dd happy to have something to take in.

dd (nearly 6) makes 'crafty' things for each of them, and cards, and I add a small charity voucher such as 'books for an African village school' with an educational or child-y flavour, in their name.

I sometimes add a blooming hyacinth bulb or somesuch too, depending on the success of dd's craft

Should add, dd2 has 4 nursery teachers and dd1 has two teachers AND a TA, and a beloved headmistress, so it adds up....
