primary schools in boston spa area of leeds

Hello, thinking of moving to Leeds - specifically the Thorp Arch area, next to Boston Spa, or Boston Spa itself. The primary school ofsteds are ok but not great, but I know this isn't everything..... Does anyone know anything about the schools locally?
if we don't move the children will be going privately, but this doesn't seem to be an option from there (unless I spend hours in the car every day...)

I have taught with the head at St Mary's C of E in Boston Spa - she is a wonderfully caring person, and the children love her. She's a fantastic teacher, too!
