ds just started Y1 today and brought home this reading book.i'm not familiar with it and I wanted to know how it relates to ORT levels. In reception, my ds was on purple, this book seems to have a yellow sticker on it but i noticed his teacher wrote 'green new way' in his reading record . A little confused here. is it normal then to take kids a few levels back at the start of a new year? maybe to boost their confidence or to help them unwind from the summer holiday.
