... a figure hugging outfit for a 1940s themed day?

we are having one soon and i have got an outfit consisting of... a button up puff sleeve blouse, a wide black belt and a knee length balck pencil skirt. i also have chnky high heeled, round toed balck shoes with a strap and buckle across the top.

i brought my assorted items back from the charity shop and tried them on for dh..his eyes nearly popped out of his head!

now i'm panicking that the outfit is inapprpriate, somehow. (dh said' forces sweetheart' sprung to mind)

now, the skirt isnt above the knee, and the blouse buttons up high, but i'm quite busty and it just feels a bit too sexy somehow. its a fab outfit, but i think it'll turn a few too many heads (just being honest- i dont usually turn any heads at all, lol!)

what shall i do? my FIL has lent me his overalls (sp?)so i could go as a landgirl, and look like a sack of spuds... what should i do?
