I have to find 50 dads and 50 mums presents for around £1.50 to £2.50 max to wrap and put on a stall for the kids to buy for their parents. I dont know where to start looking with such a low budget. In the past there has been scarfs, socks, candles. Any good contacts and ideas out there?

Have you tried the pound shop? Alot of tat but you can also get candles etc. Costco is also good, it's alot cheaper to buy in bulk.

Have heard of Costco but you do need to be a member. Could look in the pound shop. Thanks

A teacher from the school may be a member. If it's for the school then they should help. Have you tried wholesalers?

Ours has a dress down day in exchange for bringing in an item for the xmas fair - gift sets etc are used towards the presents.

Seem to recall every Friday in November was dress down day in exchange for gift sets, wine, tombolla items etc. First week of December dress down was for wrapping paper or cards for another stall/

Stocked up in the Boots sale in the new year so as not to be caught out this year - we didnt do this at school when I was little so had to do some mad dashes to the shops last year when DS started reception.

I quite like Hawkins Bazaar for cheap but cheerful gifts for adults and kids and they may do a deal if you are buying in bulk?
