Hi
My ds has just started a new school and has settled really well.
However he has to do swimming every wednesday afternoon and he hates it as he says there are too many of them, I believe its not just his year that goes and he worries in case he loses his clothes.
Wednesdays have become a nightmare he protests at having to go on this day to the point of tears and it has become a real battle.
He does seem to be making quite a bit of fuss imp as he always comes home with all of his things and hasn,t lost an item yet.
I have noticed that he has got worse about this since he told me that one boy out of his class had to walk back to school without his trousers as he had lost them, I think my ds worries that it may happen to him.
What can I do I can,t face the same battle every wednesday practically having to drag him out the door he has begged me to keep him off before now and says he wants to go back to his old school where they never did swimming.
I am so disapponted that just this one thing is spoiling it for him as otherwise he loves the school.
Me myself I think its great that thye do swimming every week.
I don,t think there is many more to it than him simply worrying about losing his stuff.
