DS3 has a teacher who writes notes daily & summarises something positive that DS has done that week...and makes sure he writes a list of equiptment he needs...homework...etc.
He has got ADHD/AS...so i thought it was part of the support he gets...but no...... she and the TA make sure ALL books are used this way!
So finally...after 2 going through primary with only me adding comments...I now have a teacher who will glance through EVERY link book to see if any message from home.
So WELL DONE to ALL teachers who do this fantastic thing...which makes such a difference to my day!!!!
