is your child reluctant to wear school uniform? i have had a lightbulb moment

dd1 (6) hates her school cardi and has said she will not wear it

i took her to the haberdashery shop and let her her choose some buttons and i changed the buttons on he cardi - now she cant wait to wear it!

i just hope the school is ok with this

That's a great idea - will keep that one in reserve. Don't think our school would have a problem with it. And DD1 was certainly over the moon when she got some school trousers with one of those little, silver hearts hanging from the waistband. Such things are so important when you are six
