Where can I buy age 2-3 boys school trousers

I am hoping someone can help with my search for school trousers to fit my small 4 year old who starts school in September. I think I will need age 2-3 school trousers for him. He is both short and slim which makes finding school trousers a challenge. I'm looking for suggestions of places to try.

Next do an age 3, the flat front ones are slim fitting and have adjustable waists. Tried loads for DS and found these the best.

Ds1 has been wearing BHS age 3 (height 98cm) for his reception year. He is about the smallest boy in his class.

I've had to take tucks waistbands of just about all the school trousers I've ever bought my 2 DSs! I think that looks better than 'adjustable' waistbands yanked upto their very tightest with a great wadge of fabric bunched around their insubstantial behinds!

Asda do them in this size too

Second John Lewis - my DS had their 18 inch waist (the smallest size) when he started in reception - all the age 3 trousers were too big for him. And they were a very reasonable £3.50! Think age 3 means age 3-4 and my ds needed age 2-3.

Yeah DS2 had size 3 (ie 2-3) M&S ones last Sept. He was a small 4.5yo and they were fine, adjustable waist too.

I spent a lot of time searching for the best prices. But I still think the best variety and often the best deals are here: eBay

Marks and Spencers did a fab sizing for my ds when he started school. Age 3 and I thought the hem would need taken up but as it transpired it was fine.

I doubt this is still an issue for the op
