I’m in north Islington just outside the catchments of the most popular schools (well not catchment but last admitted distance which varies a bit every year) like Yerbury and St. Joseph’s. We will be ranking Grafton and Tufnell Park primary as we seem to have at least a small chance of getting a place at one of these. I wanted to know if anyone had experiences in any of the less popular schools like St John’s Upper Holloway, Duncombe, St. Marks, Ashmount, Hargrave Park? The main thing I’m looking for is nice kids and a supportive environment as my son is on the quieter side. Of course I will be touring all of them but wanted to see if anyone had some insight.
