Where to look for reception/primary school teacher available during August in London

Hello

A friend of mine is coming from abroad to stay in London for 5 weeks from the end of July. She is coming with her 5yo DC who attends a British school abroad, and would like to have some early reading/phonics sessions with a teacher.

We are at a loss about where to start looking, Are there any specific websites for this type of work, please? I am aware not many teacher may be willing to work during the school holidays, and if there were group lessons somewhere in London that could also work.

Thanks a lot!

Have a look on tutorful (website) loads of teachers who do extra tuition on there.

There are hundreds of Tutoring companies and websites, maybe just google for ks1 tuition in the area she’ll be visiting.

I would look for a retired teacher

I'm an ex-infant teacher, and I really wouldn't bother. Maybe find a good phonics app, or get twinkle, and do 15 minutes a day practice?
