England primary schools - what is the last day of term/year at your school please?

And is it earlier than last year? Or am I imagining it.....

Ours is the 22 July, 23rd is an inset day for us and most schools in LEA I think.

The reason is they normally finish about 22/23 July, but usually a Friday. Given the choice between July 18 (early) and July 25 (late) they have opted for a midweek do.

What it also means is that we only have five weeks and two half weeks, which may have made holiday bookings a pain (ie only 5 wks to go at not 6).
