Hi all. We are considering sending our DD to Eaton House and would really like to hear from parents who have kids there. Is it a happy environment? It seems quite academically focused, which is not a bad thing, but I don’t want to put too much pressure on DD while she’s only primary school age!

Thanks in advance!

Hi OP,
I have a DD there and youngest DD will start reception next year.
We are very very happy with the school and our eldest has really flourished. Yes, it is academic but they are big on pastoral care and I've heard they do provide the support if it's needed. I have to say our DD loves it!

The girls really are all-rounders: academic, sporty etc and you can see from the older years at the school that they are good kids - thoughtful, kind, respectful. So far so good imo.. so yes I would recommend. Good luck with your choice, I'm sure you'll make the right decision whatever school you decide to go with x

I also had DD there but she recently left for seniors. We loved it. The school is the perfect balance of academics and pastoral care. There was lots of fun. They really believe in the girls. The 11+ prep was outstanding. Brilliant final year teachers made up for a rocky year before. The Head and deputy really know the girls and play to their strengths. We were very pleased with 11+ outcomes and DD is thriving at her new school. We love the model of boys and girls on one site but separately run schools tailored to the sexes.
