nervous now and suddenyl thiking of potential problems if dont get first choice, Have many of you found out yet?
did many get first choices?

you poor thing. Just what you need with a new baby. What would you do if you didn't drive (like me?) and had to get the bus with three kids there and back every day? Agree that the LEA jsut makes enormous assumptions about your family - i think they rely on the fact that so many people go private or move out, and they're forcing this by not providing enough places.

I'm leaning more towards the private route, certainly if we dont have a place by, say, July. Would put a time limit on how long we could live in London as certainly could not afford three children private. Even one would mean a lot of beans on toast

Yes, I'm thinking abt registering car in mother's name and claiming not to have one and seeing what they do...

Going private route is what they want you to do...

found out this morning DS has got into our first choice school very relieved
